Qualifications

• Mature judgement in dealings with patients, physicians and insurers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable with databases.
• Able to operate office machines (computer, printer, scanner).
• Able to learn multiple tasks and organize work efficiently.
• Good professional communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Onboards new department staff at hire.
• Oversees daily financial clearance operations for the region to ensure timely, accurate patient account processing.
• Keeps current with payer rules and changes; communicates updates to the team.
• Trains and schedules staff for training/education sessions.
• Audits performance to reduce denials and write-offs and maintain accuracy.
• Monitors department workflow and accuracy.
• Manages team performance: scheduling, time tracking, mentoring, and competency completion.
