Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative II to handle registration, financial clearance, insurance verification and cashier duties under Revenue Cycle Management. You will perform assigned tasks with accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality, while supporting team goals and quality standards.

Required education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience, or an associate degree with 2+ years in patient access or medical billing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree plus 2 years Patient Access or Medical Billing experience, or 4 years in Patient Access/Medical fields.
• Internal employees must have no corrective actions on record.
• Proven skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, Windows-based applications, and 10-key calculators.

Responsibilities

• Completes all assigned Patient Access II tasks accurately and timely.
• Responds promptly, professionally to customer needs.
• Communicates effectively with McLaren Health Care team members.
• Contributes to quality improvement efforts.
• May seek guidance from Rep III for complex tasks.
• Organizes time and prioritizes effectively.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Follows safety standards and policies.
