Baptist Health is recruiting for a Patient Access role at our Beaches location in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The incumbent will register patients, verify demographics, and route them through appropriate systems and interfaces while maintaining service excellence for every patient and visitor.

Responsibilities include cross-training across access areas, ensuring required consent forms are completed, and upholding HIPAA privacy guidelines in all interactions with patients and staff.

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces
• Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
• Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
