Responsibilities

• Assist patients with questions related to registration, insurance, and the access-to-care process.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and internal departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow applicable privacy and organizational policies.
• Utilize computer systems and patient access technology to accurately document and update patient information.
• Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Shift Details: Saturday-Sunday 10:45am-11:15pm

Patient Access Representative II Job Responsibilities:

Patient Access Representative II Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Registers patients accurately and efficiently Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
