Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to register patients accurately and efficiently across multiple systems while cross-training in several access areas.

You will maintain patient privacy under HIPAA, comply with EMTALA/AHCA/JCAHO requirements, and deliver service excellence to patients and visitors in person or by phone, collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams across our 200+ locations.

Qualifications

• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Uses multiple systems and interfaces to register patients.
• Cross-trained to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Articulates compliance documentation and ensures completion of patient consent forms.
