Job summary

Ascension Health’s All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI seeks a dedicated team member for the Behavioral Health department on the Day Shift. This full-time role supports scheduling, patient contact, and care coordination to ensure smooth access and prepared patients.

You will manage demographic and insurance data, assist with pre-service authorizations, and coordinate scheduling needs, contributing to efficient operations and high-quality patient experiences in a compassionate Catholic health

Qualifications

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate patient scheduling workflows to ensure the most efficient use of time and clinical resources, providing a seamless access experience for every patient.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and staff, facilitating clear communication regarding procedure requirements and pre-service instructions to alleviate patient anxiety and ensure preparedness.
  • Manage the integrity of patient data by accurately collecting and entering demographic, insurance, and clinical information, forming a reliable foundation for high-quality care.
  • Coordinate essential pre-service authorizations and insurance verifications, proactively resolving barriers to ensure patients can receive their prescribed procedures without delay.
  • Support clinical operations by expertly managing complex scheduling needs and independently navigating resources to resolve any procedure-related conflicts.
