Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time Rehab Department position at Studer Family Children\'s Hospital Outpatient Rehab in Pace, FL. The role involves gathering demographic, insurance and clinical information, coordinating procedures, and assisting with pre-certification and patient instruction.

Responsibilities

• Gather demographic, insurance and clinical information from patients and enter into database.
• Resolve issues about type, date or location of prescribed procedures; coordinate resources accordingly.
• Schedule patient procedures to efficiently utilize patient time and clinical resources.
• Assist with insurance pre-certification/authorization coordination.
• Provide counseling to patients/representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
