Job summary

CareMore Health in Los Angeles seeks a Patient Relations Representative to advocate for patients, helping them navigate insurance, benefits, and access to care while collaborating with clinical and operational teams for high-quality service.

You will support onboarding, address barriers to care, educate on programs, and coordinate with SHIP/HICAP and other community resources to serve our members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, patient relations, or care coordination.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid or managed care populations preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for insurance, benefits, and access-to-care questions.
• Assist patients with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plan benefits and coverage options.
• Help resolve concerns related to appointments, referrals, and billing.
• Advocate for patients and educate on programs and supports available.
• Onboard patients to CareMore services and coordinate with care teams.
• Support scheduling, documentation, and HIPAA-compliant records.
