Job summary

CareMore Health is seeking a Patient Relations Representative to advocate for patients and help them access care and benefits. You will work with clinical and operational teams to resolve issues and improve the patient experience.

You will support onboarding, answer insurance questions, and guide patients through program enrollment. This role emphasizes coordination, confidentiality, and proactive problem solving to enhance satisfaction and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in healthcare operations, patient relations, or care coordination.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid or managed care populations preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare systems/platforms.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for patients regarding insurance, benefits and access-to-care questions.
• Assist patients with understanding Medicare, Medicaid and health plan benefits and coverage options.
• Resolve patient concerns related to appointments, referrals, billing and care coordination.
• Educate patients on public assistance and healthcare support programs; assist with applications.
• Support patient onboarding and orientation to CareMore services and programs.
• Build relationships with patients and caregivers to foster trust and satisfaction.
• Promote preventative care and participation in health management programs.
• Partner with clinic leadership to improve patient workflows and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient experience.
