Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in a customer service role with high-volume environment.
• EPIC Cadence experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/insurance/payor requirements and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients in-person and/or by phone to collect information for hospital records and billing.
• Pre-register patients for admission, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certifications.
• Process referrals and handle clerical tasks (phones, messages, charting, faxing, scanning).
• Assist team, escalate issues, and support financial clearance and eligibility verification.
