Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record for patient care teams.
• Check in and register patients; verify demographics and insurance; collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance coverage and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Refer patients to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Schedule appointments and inform patients of prep instructions.
• Provide welcoming, professional customer service and assist with patient needs.
• Monitor and manage electronic health record work queues.
