The role emphasizes compliance with HIPAA, strong communication, and the ability to multitask across multiple systems and platforms. Full-time hours with standard clinic scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in a fast-paced role with high call or in-person volume.
• Experience with Epic Cadence is preferred and knowledge of revenue cycle processes.
• Strong communication, HIPAA compliance, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients in-person or by phone to collect information for hospital records and billing.
• Pre-register patients for admission, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification when required.
• Process referrals, answer phones, handle messages, and manage chart processing.
• Collect deposits or set up payment arrangements and screen for financial programs.
• Escalate issues, train teammates, and support department performance initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare and other payor compliance requirements.
