You will verify insurance benefits, prepare ABN forms, review orders for compliance, and arrange pre-certifications when needed while ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED.
• Preferred educational qualifications: Associates Degree in healthcare or related business field.
• Position testing: proficient in Windows-based computer technology, including 25 wpm typing.
• Medical Terminology certification preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of job-related experience.
• Preferred experience: Customer service, clerical/office, hospital or insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial counseling, collecting co-pays and deductibles, and educating patients on financial assistance.
• Stat registering and scheduling appointments; complete registration with financial/demographic data in the ADT system.
• Verify insurance benefits, generate ABN, review orders for compliance, and MSP processing.
• Obtain pre-certifications when applicable and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Maintain excellent customer service while communicating with physicians, patients, and staff.
