Qualifications

• Previous office/clerical experience.

• Reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Training/giving and receiving instructions.
• Mathematical ability, attention to detail, concentration and alertness.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and directs them to the appropriate area.
• Interviews patients and verifies demographic and insurance information.
• Verifies insurance coverage for primary, secondary and tertiary plans.
• Registers patients in the system and maintains accurate demographics and financial data.
• Resolves discrepancies in cash handling and daily deposits.
• Answers calls and routes to appropriate departments; assists with admissions and notifications.
