Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support patient experience.
• Field and direct calls; answer patient/staff inquiries.
• Refer accounts to financial counselors for options (denied authorizations, out-of-pocket liabilities, coverage options, payment plans).
• Assist with process improvements and team coverage.
• Maintain night/weekend/holiday and on-call coverage as needed.
• Register, preregister, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients per guidelines.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations.
