Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately, efficiently and professionally to ensure database integrity and facilitate claims processing.
• Verify benefits for patient encounters and identify needs for referrals/precertification.
• Audit charts for accuracy and collect/enter demographics, physician and insurance information.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain authorization, referrals, and scripts for reimbursement and satisfaction.
• Ensure essential registration forms are scanned into the EMR and perform chart follow-up as needed.
