Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of medical terminology course or equivalent experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Register and verify insurance and demographic information per guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, contract group number, effective dates and coverage.
• Inform patients of co-pays or self-pay policy and document in patient account.
• Monitor patient balances and arrange financial plans.
• Research patient questions per guidelines and procedures.
