Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Lakes Medical Center is seeking an Admissions Financial Representative. The 0.6 FTE schedule rotates weekly, with two Monday/Wednesday shifts and additional weekend coverage as needed, to support patient access and financial clearance processes.

The role focuses on scheduling/registration, delivering exceptional patient service, managing tasks, and ensuring compliance while upholding Fairview commitments to respect and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of applicable computer knowledge and skills.
• Preferred: high school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting with registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling and registration support for patients.
• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to patients, families and other customers.
• Manage daily worklists and resolve tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate Fairview commitments related to Respect to People and Continuous Improvement.
• Partner with patient care giver in care/decision making and communicate respectfully.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment and tailor plan of care to population served.
• Complete required learning and comply with laws, policies and standards.
