AdventHealth is seeking a detail-oriented Hospital Scheduling and Eligibility Specialist to verify patient benefits, schedule appointments, and support the revenue cycle. You will collaborate with clinical teams and physicians to ensure timely submissions and accurate documentation.

The role requires strong data entry, communication, and multitasking skills, with a focus on patient experience and compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school background preferred.
• Experience with EPM/EMR systems is preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits for visits to prevent denials.
• Process error reports and maintain accurate data for billing.
• Monitor wait times and improve registration processes with clinical teams.
• Coordinate with physicians and offices to complete and submit authorization forms and plans of care.
• Screen calls and route to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
• Schedule patients per department protocols and verify orders.
• Register patients and explain charges and payment options, collecting payments when due.
• Other duties as assigned.
