Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a patient access coordinator to support the flow of patients in the hospital and Emergency Department. You will handle reception and registration, interview patients, and collect demographic and financial information while addressing general billing questions.

Preferred candidates will have an Associate's Degree and 2 years in a medical setting with inpatient or outpatient admitting, plus experience in registration or financial counseling

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or equivalent experience in a medical setting.
• Experience in patient registration, financial counseling, or insurance terminology is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate information flow and support for patient flow in hospital and Emergency Department.
• Interview patients and families to obtain demographic and financial data, and collect consents.
• Provide front-line customer service including reception and registration; answer billing questions.
