Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Patient Registration Specialist in Seattle to coordinate information and support for patient flow in the hospital and Emergency Department. You will provide front line customer service including reception and Registration and interview patients/families to obtain demographic and financial data.

You will assist patients with billing questions, financial aid options, and alternate coverage for hospital stays, while acting as a conduit to staff for payment arrangements

Qualifications

• Interview patients and families to collect demographic and financial data.
• Assist with billing, insurance or collection questions/concerns.
• Coordinate patient flow and registration in hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and support for patient flow in hospital and ED.
• Provide front-line customer service including reception and Registration.
• Serve as the POS team expert to facilitate registration during hospitalization.
• Coordinate coverage with Physician Offices and POS team members.
