Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to interview patients and families, collect demographic and financial data, obtain consents, and guide patients through payments and insurance questions.

You will act as the POS team expert to support registration and financial counseling during hospitalization, coordinate with physicians and offices, and help maintain accurate information flow across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Two years of experience in a medical setting with inpatient or outpatient admitting, insurance, financial counseling and medical terminology.
• Experience in patient registration and financial counseling.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and families to collect demographic and financial data.
• Assist patients with billing, insurance, or collection questions.
• Staff coordination on a shift and ensure timely patient information flow.
