Providence Swedish is seeking a part-time Patient Registration/Financial Counseling professional to coordinate patient flow and front-line service in the Swedish First Hill environment in Seattle, WA. You will interview patients, collect demographics and financial data, obtain necessary consents, escort patients, and address billing questions while supporting coverage coordination with Physician Offices.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 2 years' experience in a medical setting with inpatient or outpatient admitting.
• Experience in Patient Registration, financial counseling, insurance or medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and support for patient flow in the hospital and Emergency Department.
• Interview patients and family to collect demographic and financial data, obtain consents, and escort patients.
• Serve as POS team expert to facilitate registration, handle billing questions, and coordinate coverage with physician offices.
