Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Office certificate preferred.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong data-entry accuracy.
• Experience with customer service, scheduling, data entry, and medical insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify identity and insurance information.
• Obtain and scan IDs and insurance cards into EMR systems.
• Collect co-pays and payments and issue receipts.
• Review consents and HIPAA forms for new and existing patients.
• Check in patients for appointments and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Maintain front office cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Coordinate with multiple GMG locations as needed.
