Job summary

Pullman Regional is seeking a Patient Registrar to provide friendly patient-facing scheduling and registration services. You will interview patients, collect demographics, and verify insurance eligibility in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, check-in/check-out, and assisting staff with patient paperwork while maintaining professionalism and a patient-first attitude. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Strong typing skills/speed.
• Comfort in answering phones and speaking with customers on the phone.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Ability to read and write clearly, and understand policies, labels, and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling, check-in, check-out and other related processes according to procedures.
• Explain or obtain patient demographics and verify insurance eligibility.
• Assist in collecting co-pays and balancing end-of-day deposits.
• Support clinical staff with patient paperwork and data entry as needed.
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients, providers and staff.
