Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Preference given to applicants with advanced degree.
• Basic Life Support preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health is required.
• 1 year of healthcare or office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling resources for patient appointments.
• Manages communication tools for patient scheduling requests by patients and care teams.
• Manages the pre-registration review process for insurance verification for upcoming appointments.
• Manages follow-up appointment requests.
• Retrieves payment collection for services, copay, or up-front collections.
• Creates new patient profiles in the electronic health record with accurate demographic data.
• Manages multiple worklists for New Patient Registration.
• Coordinates sign-ups for various disciplines (Primary Care, Behavioral Health, etc.).
• Cross-trains for coverage as a PRS.
• Ensures compliance with SEARHC standards and improves customer service.
