Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical front office or customer service is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication with patients and staff.
• Proficient typing and general office tasks.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Answer and direct multiple phone lines, including voicemails.
• Process patient payments by credit card or cash and balance cash drawer.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Verify insurances and navigate multiple websites for patient appointments.
• Assist with patient check-out and provide needed paperwork (labs, orders).
• Maintain neat reception and waiting areas and assist with back-office communication.
• Adhere to scheduling, supervision, and feedback as required.
