Job summary

Charleston Area Medical Center in Morgantown's Cheat Lake Clinic is seeking a Registration Representative to welcome patients and accurately complete the registration process. You will collect demographics and insurance data, support appointment scheduling, and help ensure efficient clinic operations and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Healthcare office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately obtain, verify, and enter patient demographics, insurance, and financial information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments; handle reminders and follow-ups.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when applicable.
• Answer multi-line phones and communicate with clinical staff to support flow.
• Provide courteous, professional service to patients, families, and visitors.
