• Obtain signatures on consent forms, privacy notices, and financial documents; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Verify insurance benefits and update patient records accordingly.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, or deposits; explain financial assistance options.
• Coordinate with clinical and security teams to prioritize patient intake and flow.
• Enter and maintain patient data in the EMR and registration systems; correct duplicates.
• Respond to inquiries with courtesy and sensitivity; adapt to diverse scenarios.
• Keep up to date on payer guidelines and hospital policies for accuracy.
• Support process improvements; train new staff; backup coverage during high volume.
• All duties may be updated by management as needed.
