Job summary

Agence PROvidence is hiring a Patient Access Representative to support on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits. You will collect demographic and insurance information, verify eligibility, and obtain patient liability at the point of service, while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

You will greet patients professionally, coordinate with the care team, and perform financial clearance tasks on assigned accounts, contributing to a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration is preferred.
• 3 years experience in Patient Access or Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years knowledge of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete registration with accurate demographic and insurance information and collect patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts.
• Greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner and ensure compliant documentation.
