Job summary

Providence Revenue Cycle Business Services is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator to support on-site registration for scheduled and unscheduled visits. You will collect demographics, insurance details, and patient liability, and perform financial clearance for assigned accounts, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• 3 years experience in Patient Access within a business office setting, including insurance eligibility.
• 3 years' experience using medical terminology and knowledge of CPT/ICD coding.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and managed care payors, Medicare Secondary Payor, EMTALA and ABN.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect demographic and insurance information and patient liability at service time.
• Perform financial clearance on assigned scheduled accounts.
• Ensure registrations are accurate and compliant with regulations.
