Job summary

Qualifications

• CRCR encouraged within 1 year of employment.
• Minimum of one year of office experience preferred; medical terminology preferred.
• Exceptional customer service experience, good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of health insurance and billing preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and in a timely manner, verifies insurance and secures necessary signatures.
• Answers and directs hospital telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Interacts with patients, families, physicians and staff in a professional manner.
• Maintains patient privacy and HIPAA compliance; protects confidentiality.
