Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support the Patient Access department. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, preregistering and registering patients, verifying insurance, and handling payments while supporting on‑call coverage and process improvements.

The candidate will work with the PAR team to ensure accurate data in the EHR, improve patient flow, and coordinate with departments to meet patient experience goals.

Formación

• Ability to multitask, prioritize appropriately, and manage time efficiently.
• Effective oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to utilize a variety of technological resources (phone, computer hardware, various software programs, fax, scanner)

Responsabilidades

• Provides excellent customer service and contributes to patient experience.
• Fields incoming calls and responds to inquiries; directs as needed.
• Obtains pre-authorizations and verifies insurance within required timelines.
• Registers, preregisters, schedules, reschedules, and discharges patients per guidelines.
• Manages co-pays, deductibles, and deposits; supports on-call coverage as needed.
• Leads PAR responsibilities including training new hires and QA audits.
• Collaborates with management to improve processes and ensure department efficiency.
