Job summary

Edwards County Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Technician to handle front desk registrations and answer calls promptly. You will admit patients to the correct department and gather required documents for registration.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and transfer to the appropriate department or individual.
• Admit patients to the appropriate department and level of care with accuracy.
• Add and check on ordering providers who are not credentialed with the facility.
• Perform office tasks including ordering supplies and basic bookkeeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Patient Accounts Director.
