Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registration Representative to handle accurate check-in and admissions in the hospital/ED setting, including in-person, phone, or virtual registrations. You will verify demographic information, collect insurance data, and assist with self-registration.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience; Epic RC/EMR experience is preferred. This is a part-time role with day hours and 8-hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience required
• Experience with Epic RC/EMR preferred; HFMA certification preferred
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to interact professionally with diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Verify patient demographics and insurance data during check-in/registration.
• Assist patients with self-registration and collect co-pays when required.
• Ensure patient safety with positive patient identification and obtain required consents.
• Able to walk to patient locations in ED or hospital for in-person registration.
• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and productivity standards.
