Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to obtain demographic and insurance information.
• Guides patients through registration, scheduling, and financial clearance.
• Determines and collects patient financial liability and creates estimates.
• Refers patients to financial resources for assistance as needed.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and payor requirements.
• Secures signatures for timely reimbursement and service consents.
• Reviews daily schedule to anticipate department flow issues.
• Maintains registration accuracy and compliance.
