Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at hire.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, with knowledge of patient registration procedures and health insurance payers.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across access points with accurate demographic info and insurance verification.
• Scan, index, and manage patient documents for registration, billing, and clinical workflows.
• Explain patient financial responsibilities and collect payments where applicable.
• Schedule and adjust patient appointments to support timely access to care.
• Resolve routine registration and insurance discrepancies or escalate complex issues.
• Provide patient-facing support via phone and other channels and document interactions.
