CommonSpirit Health in Colorado Springs is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support the patient experience by organizing workflows, managing registrations, and delivering courteous service.

You will interview patients for demographics and financial information, verify benefits, explain costs, collect patient portions, and mentor new associates while upholding confidentiality and accuracy in all records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Preferred: experience in a healthcare office, familiarity with medical terminology, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Responsabilités

• Register patients consistently with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain financial requirements to patients.
• Collect patient portions prior to or at time of service.
• Obtain signatures and scan documents into electronic patient records.
• Maintain accuracy rate within department guidelines.
• Protect patient information and confidentiality.
