Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency registrations.
• Accurate data entry of demographics, insurance, and financial information.
• Verifies medical necessity per CMS standards and communicates coverage details.
• Ensures completeness of the electronic health record (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Handle front-office and back-office functions across the network.
• Conduct patient registrations, admissions, discharges and transfers timely.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain financial clearance for visits.
• Pre-register scheduled patients using EPIC work queues.
