TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to support patient registration and front-office operations in Fortuna, CA. You will be the first point of contact, requiring strong communication and accuracy while handling multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.

The role includes checking in patients, updating demographic data, verifying IDs and insurance, and assisting with admissions paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Check in and register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and update patient demographic information.
• Verify patient identities using required information and photo ID.
• Assess payment needs or potential eligibility for financial assistance.
• Explain consent forms and assist with admissions paperwork.
• Verify insurance information and keep records accurate.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patient inquiries.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional experience for patients and visitors.
• Collaborate with team members while managing responsibilities independently.
