Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Access Specialist I to check-in patients, verify demographic data in hospital systems, and educate on required forms. You will collect co-pays, maintain accurate records, and support the department with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of customer service/administrative clerical experience required.
• One year of patient registration experience preferred.
• Medical Terminology certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and their accompanying family members and provide exemplary customer service.
• Identify the appropriate account for patient visit and educate patients on required forms and signatures.
• Complete all check-in files and manage processes specific to the patient visit.
• Collect and post co-payments and balances on accounts due.
• Utilize strong organizational skills.
• Display effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient understanding and use of technology/PC skills.
• Display exemplary core customer service skills.
• Complete other duties as assigned by department leadership.
