Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient in EMR system.
• Enter patient demographic and financial information via standard process.
• Provide exceptional customer service during encounters with patients and families.
• Perform registration functions in Patient Access areas.
• Use various computer programs to enter and retrieve information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Explain billing procedures and hospital policies to patients.
