Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• One year of related hospital, clinic, or customer service experience required.
• Certification in Healthcare Access management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and guests.
• Create, activate, and complete patient scheduling, clinic registration, or hospital admission.
• Input demographic and financial information and explain insurance benefits.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay amounts; perform cash handling.
• Inform patients of financial responsibilities and perform basic financial analysis.
• Balance cash drawer daily and follow end-of-shift procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of patient information.
