Qualifications

• 1 year healthcare experience in a patient access setting preferred, with knowledge of registration processes and health payer concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration across access points, capturing accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Scan, index, and manage patient documentation to support workflows in the EHR.
• Explain financial responsibilities to patients and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments to support timely access.
• Identify and escalate routine registration or insurance issues per procedures.
• Provide patient-facing support via phone and other approved channels.
