Responsibilities

• Create initial electronic health record and prevent duplicates.
• Check in and register patients, collect demographics and co-pays.
• Explain insurance basics and refer to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Schedule appointments and provide test prep and directions.
• Greet patients, answer calls, and assist visitors with courtesies.
• Monitor and manage electronic health record queues.
