Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with patient access, scheduling, registration, and financial clearance preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and monitor flow to ensure courteous service.
• Complete registration for walk-ins and update demographics/insurance.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect patient liability.
• Follow Financial Clearance policy and refer as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide documents.
