Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages incoming calls while providing necessary information.
• Greets patients and representatives and directs them as needed.
• Schedules and preschedules patient appointments.
• Interviews patients for registration information and completes the process.
• Identifies services with no payment source and communicates financial options.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains precertifications when applicable.
• Collects/co-pays and explains estimated costs.
• Reviews charges for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensures data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Communicates with payers, physicians, and other departments.
• Sets up new patient records via Care Connect.
