Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience with electronic medical records.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred and helpful in patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect documentation, confirm insurance eligibility and obtain signatures.
• Accurately collect patient information, update records and process payments.
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments following scheduling guidelines.
• Monitor schedules, communicate payment options and review sliding fee scale costs.
• Maintain accurate records, statistics and productivity reports; assist data reporting.
• Perform general office duties and manage office supply inventory.
