Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in patient admitting/registration and/or insurance eligibility preferred.
• EPIC training/experience preferred.
• Insurance payor systems experience preferred.
• ICD-10 medical terminology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to meet or exceed customer service responsibilities over phone, in person and in writing.
• Willingness and ability to instruct others.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient reception, face-to-face check-ins, pre-registration, insurance eligibility confirmation, and cash collections.
• Register new patients, update records, and address inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
• Act as the first point of contact to advocate for patients and foster trust and loyalty.
