Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families and other customers in a courteous and welcoming manner; direct to testing and surgical areas.
• Obtain and verify all required patient information for entry into the registration system.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information and keep work areas orderly and stocked.
• Access department communications daily via telephone or e-mail and implement requested changes to information collection procedures.
• Act as a preceptor for new hires and provide required education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PAS leadership team.
• Assist patients, families, and visitors with transportation as needed.
